Even though Emmanuel School of Religion is a relatively young seminary, it has been building on a rich heritage of Christian faith and history. The School is grounded  in an unambiguous confidence in the Lordship of Jesus Christ as God incarnate. And it draws its understanding of the church from the pages of the New Testament.

The three artist renderings on the cover of Emmanuel's 40th anniversary book were painted by Mr. Dennis Smith. Smith attended Emmanuel from 2002 to  2004. He came to School from Savannah, Georgia where he attended the Savannah Christian Church. As a talented artist, he made an impact on the Emmanuel community as a very accomplished vocal soloist.
