Pursuing a Masters degree is a major
decision and one that you will benefit from for a lifetime. In
order to help you reach your educational goals Emmanuel offers
several scholarships. Every student requesting financial aid is
required to fill out the FAFSA and Emmanuel’s Application for
Financial Aid. Emmanuel’s Federal School Code is G12547.
Alexander Campbell
Scholarship
Awarded to 4 newly enrolling Master of
Divinity students each year. Students applying for this
scholarship must complete a separate
application which is
reviewed by the ACS Committee. Please have all portions of the Alexander Campbell Application packet returned to Emmanuel by March 29.
To nominate an entering student for the Alexander Campbell
Scholarship (ACS), please read the
Memo and complete the
Nomination Form. Submit the completed
nomination form by February 15th.
Stone Campbell Scholarship
This scholarship is available to
students with an undergrad degree of 3.0 or above and who come
from a Stone-Campbell background. This scholarship is available
to students in the Master of Arts in Religion and Master of
Divinity degree programs. All entering students are encouraged
to apply.
Solid Ministry Potential
Scholarship
This scholarship is available to
entering Master of Divinity students with an undergrad GPA of
2.5 to 2.9.
Friends Scholarship
The Friends Scholarship is awarded to students who do not
come from a Stone-Campbell background. These students must have
an undergrad GPA of 2.5 or higher and demonstrate ministry potential. Students applying for the Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Religion are encouraged to apply.
Spousal Scholarship
In an effort to encourage families
to enter into the spirit of ministry together Emmanuel
offers the spousal scholarship. Any spouse of a full time
student may apply for this scholarship. The spouse is
allowed to audit two classes without cost each academic year.
If the spouse is working towards a degree they may take
up to two free courses per semester if they maintain a GPA
of 3.0; one free course with a GPA of 2.5.
International Scholarship
Each year two full tuition
scholarships are awarded to international students enrolling
in the Master of Arts in Religion or Master of Divinity
degree programs. (Scholarship awards have been suspended for the 2010-11 academic year.
However, please contact the Admissions office to begin the
paperwork for international scholarships for the 2011-12
academic year, as this process can be lengthy.)
Western Student Scholarship
These scholarships are designed to
help students from the west coast offset the cost of moving
across the country for graduate school. They are awarded to
several students from western states each year.
Fig Tree Fellowship
Scholarship
The Fig Tree Fellowship awards
several scholarships each year to students from a
Stone-Campbell background with exceptional academic
records.
