1.
The spouse (male or female) of
any full-time student is eligible to receive a full
tuition scholarship for courses taken during fall or
spring semesters. This includes audit, credit, and credit
toward a degree. The spouse must pay all applicable fees.
2.
The scholarship does not apply
to January Intersession and Summer Session classes.
3.
Either the husband or the wife,
usually the one taking the greater number of hours, will
be identified as the “primary student,” the other as
the student eligible for a Spouse Tuition Scholarship.
4.
Upon the graduation of the
“primary student,” the spouse will no longer be
eligible for the Spouse Tuition Scholarship. However, the
spouse may at that time apply for other grants that may be
available.
5.
If the “primary student”
drops to part-time status, the spouse is no longer
eligible for the spouse scholarship.
6.
If the spouse drops a class, the
policies for repayment of the scholarship apply. These
policies are outlined in the Financial Aid Handbook
available from the Emmanuel Business Office.
7.
Spouses who choose to enter into
a degree program must go through the normal Application
for Admission process.
