Investment in Christian Education

Those who believe in the purpose and work of Emmanuel School of Religion and wish to help it be of greater service to the church are urged to consider supporting the school in a financial way. All gifts are tax deductible.

Friends of the school are encouraged to give to the general fund which underwrites the daily operations of the seminary. In addition to the general fund, friends are also encouraged to give to permanent endowed funds, many of which are given in the form of scholarship funds. Scholarship funds may be established as a memorial to a loved one or may be given during the lifetime of the donor as a simple investment in Emmanuel’s future. A named Scholarships may be established with a minimum gift of $5,000. In 1998 a $50,000 gift placed in the endowment fund will yield earnings to pay the full tuition for one student for one year. While most of the scholarship funds at Emmanuel are permanent endowed funds, some are annually funded. Both endowed and annually funded scholarships are a help to Emmanuel students preparing for ministry.

Other endowment funds are established for purposes other than scholarships. For example endowment funds may support the library, the maintenance of the campus building, or the general operational expenses of Emmanuel School of Religion.

The legal name of the corporation is Emmanuel School of Religion. For further information on charitable bequests and other gifts, we invite you to call or write the Office of the President.
